Vulnerable youths (ages 12 – 17) in the English-speaking Caribbean. Students are recommended by a teacher and/or principal and complete an application.

We combine global travel, “homegrown” local experiences, and ongoing mentorship, so inspiration turns into action at home and abroad.

International journeys usually last 7–10 days. Students travel with two teachers from their school and a CMETT staff member. Local travel will range from one-day trips to 4-nights for overnight camps. Students will be accompanied by two teachers . Safety and learning come first.

Help with passports/visas, airfare and accommodations, in-country transportation, excursion fees, meals, plus local “homegrown” trips.

Personal gear, spending money, and extra snacks/meals.

The process typically begins in the summer, with applications due by September.

Destinations vary year to year. We keep locations general here and focus on readiness, learning, and safety.
