The bridge to possibility won't be built by them alone.
Support a student in our Youth Program
About Our Youth Program
CMETT establishes partnerships with high schools in marginalized communities across the English-speaking Caribbean.
Students selected by their schools take part in a guided 7–10 day international learning journey and a series of homegrown local experiences during the year. They’re supported by teachers, CMETT staff, mentors, and coaches. Expect guided tours, classroom exchanges, community service, and structured reflection, all designed to grow confidence and a sense of possibility.
CMETT aims to provide each participant with an all-expense-paid travel abroad experience, local travel opportunities, mentorship and life coaching.
CMETT will facilitate the following:
- Passport and visa acquisition
- Airfare and hotel accommodations
- Transportation in host country
- Excursions’ fees
- Meals
- Home country excursions
Not included: personal gear, spending money, extra snacks/meals.
How to apply (for schools & students)
- Teacher recommendation: A teacher identifies a student (aged 12 – 17) who shows potential and would benefit from the program.
- Student application: The student completes the form and a short letter of interest.
- CMETT review: We assess readiness and fit; safety and learning objectives guide selection. (Application opens in summer, due September.)
We keep partner schools and destination countries general on public pages. If you’re an educator interested in partnering, please contact us.
